Overview

Collaborations with industrial, government, and national laboratories are a vital part of the CSPIN mission and operating structure. The collaborative arrangements have included exchanges of samples, data, and personnel. The research performed at CSPIN has had a significant impact on local industry through the founding of three small companies.

 

Nanomaterials and Nanofabrication Laboratories (NN-Labs was founded by Xiaogang Peng, a CSPIN scientist.

 

Jean Claude Chokomakoua, a CSPIN graduate student, performs experiments at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory in Tallahassee FL.

 

Niti Goel, a CSPIN graduate student, performs experiments at NTT Basic Research Laboratories in Japan.
